Guest guest
While I was browsing this evening I came across this, there is a very interesting bit about sweet oils, using blanched almonds to absorb the scents of plants and then pressing the oil. http://homepages.tscnet.com/omard1/jportac11.html#bk11IX Ruth

How gross - I was NOT prepared for that mess when I was looking Sooooooo forward to what I thought I'd find there. Thank goodness I hadn't eaten yet! But didn't you try scrolling up the page, for some reason the link brings you to the bottom of the page, believe me the part about balnched almonds is enthralling. Sorry you were so discusted by the goats blood bit, this actually didn't phase me at all even though I am a vegetarian, I didn't even think about it! The bit that comes up if you click on the link is about musk, civet etc. Seriously try again and you won't be dissapointed. Ruth
