A Newbie -- Where is great place to start?

NP Group,

I am a newbie and I have a very strong desire to learn all about

perfumery. I am currently working as a database

programmer/administrator in a manufacturing environment.

I have researched aromatherapy and perfumery books from my local

library. I have just purchased The Fragrant Mind and The Complete Book

of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy from Amazon.com -- waiting

impatiently for them.

I cannot find any aromatherapy shops in my town in South Alabama nor

anyone who I could be an apprentice to. I have a desire and goal but

no mentor or teacher. Any suggestions on how to make a great start for

learning this art and business?

I look forward to being apart of this group and this wonderful craft.
