A Scented Palace

I just finished reading A Scented Palace by beth de Feydeau...I

found it to be absolutely enthralling and highly recommend it to the

natural perfumer. For those not aware of the book it's the biography

of Marie Antoinette's perfumer, Louis Fargeon. The book does go

into depth about many of the creation Fargeon produced for the

toilette of the queen and her court. I completely enjoyed this book!

There has been a lot about this on the news and on perfume blogs. Seems

they're going to sell a very limited edition of this perfume at Versailles

this summer
