Guest guest
YES! This made a huge difference for my son who has respiratory issues. One thing to remember though is that after your initial diet change (4-8 weeks depending on how strict you are with staying away from your trigger foods) and round of probiotics, you need to " cheat " regularly and put yourself on a rotation diet. If you don't, then your body will likely become intolerant of the foods that you're eating to substitute the old ones. Does that make sense? So, we have wheat issues. I replace with spelt but he still eats wheat once a week or once every couple of weeks. His body can now handle it in small amounts with no adverse affects. If we just went all spelt in everything, he'd likely become intolerant of spelt so we use rice and quinoa and oat and other flours too. It took us awhile to get into a good routine with it and to recognize all of his intolerance symptoms but we're about 9 months into it now and he's doing great. Corn, gluten and dairy are huge ones and it will take a bit of adjustment. Also be aware that many people who can't tolerate pasteurized/homogenized milk can do raw milk or goat's milk so be sure to get checked out with those too. Guest guest
I love kinesiolgy...it has made such a difference in myself and my sons! Thw only comment I have is this...when they test dairy, it is usually the stuff from the store...not raw..raw is probably ok for you... " I do not ask that Thou should give me some high or noble task. Give me little hands to fold in mine. Give me little children to point Thy way, over the strange, sweet path that leads to You. Give me little voices to teach to pray. Give me shining eyes Thy face to see. The only crown I ask to wear is this, that I may teach my children. I do not ask that I may stand among the wise, the worthy, or the great; I only ask that softly, hand in hand my children and I may enter at the gate. Guest guest
okay I'm feeling really overwhelmed by it right now I have a list I am not suppose to get any gluten , spelt , corn any dairy or cheese including raw several veggies including tomatoes , coffee or tea most sweetners and a bunch of other stuff. I have eczema so do both of my kids. The kinesoligist said that the reason I have it is because I have a/an organ(s) that aren't working properly. SO my problem with all of this is I have spent upward for 500 bucks on kinesology and suplements and seen no results... andrea --- <tastefullysarah@...> wrote: > I love kinesiolgy...it has made such a difference in > myself and my sons! Guest guest
, I have used kinesiolgy two separate times in my life and have been less than impressed as well. The first was in 1997 and then again last year. The first time, I as well spent tons of money on the diagnosis and supps. I had many restrictions in my diet. My problems at the time were specifically female including non-ovulation (therefore infertile). Ultimately I stopped the supps and did my own research and developed my own treatment plan. Last year I tried again - with a different issue, with no results. Supps were not part of the treatment this time and conventional medicine (an MRI) actually helped me more this time - at least for the diagnosis. hth, Ann Marie > From: Marrapodi <qpandora@...> > Reply- > Date: Fri, 10 Feb 2006 18:10:20 -0800 (PST) > > Subject: RE: kensiology has this helped anyone > > okay I'm feeling really overwhelmed by it right now I > have a list I am not suppose to get any gluten , spelt > , corn any dairy or cheese including raw several > veggies including tomatoes , coffee or tea most > sweetners and a bunch of other stuff. Guest guest
I forgot to add. Although I was NOT trying to get pregnant at the time, by the time I did decide to try to get pregnant it took one month to do so. Guest guest
Eczema is one of the most difficult things to get rid of. It can take months or even years of good eating, right supplements, etc to get rid of it. You have to be patient and diligent. It's not easy! Guest guest
ann marie, Thanks a lot , I sat up and talked to my husband for hours last night about this we both came to the same sort of conclusion that this is slight quackery in our eyes. I have eczema , my daughter (who is 7 months and never eatten anything) my 2 year old son. All have this the kensiologist says to me " oh we can say where the eczema is coming from in your body because you have had is for 26 years. " so I ask where is it coming from in my newly born baby and the issue is skirted. Its just never a straight answer and it makes me unconfortable. They want me back once a month at over 180 bucks a pop. Were just going to Bite the bullet and go to chris foley! andrea --- Ashton <aashton1@...> wrote: > , > I have used kinesiolgy two separate times in my life > and have been less than > impressed as well. Guest guest
I have to add that my first had eczema bad. She would never sleep through the night because of the itching(2 years). I look back at her pics and feel horrible that I didn't try switching foods earlier. We do go to a homeopath which I think has helped. I think the biggest change was adding CLO and restricting her dairy- unless raw. She is now 3 1/2 and barely any exczema - every once in a while there is a small patch. For my second child, I did restrict my diet on the advice of our homeopath. She has had a few small outbreaks of eczema but nothing like the first. It is hard! How long have you been on the restricted diet? Sara > > > I love kinesiolgy...it has made such a difference in > > myself and my sons!
