Hi Kassia,

I'm glad you finally got to try GR. I don't like the warm up either. I also like doing a more moving aerobic type warm up and definitely no weights. I found that she doesn't really work the triceps as well as she does the other body parts, but maybe that's just me.

I have her Slim & Lean workout and like it a lot. I want to get her Ripped To The Core, but I have a feeling it's about like the first two, not sure.

LOL I forgot about that. I don't even do the abs, it's a waste for me.

I am glad that I borrowed Jari's workout from the library rather than purchasing it. I will definitely look to see if I can get it cheaper on the Ya Ya's or ebay.

i read on videofitness.com boards that ripped to the core is much different b/c of the use of compound moves which makes you engage the core more. i am thinkign something like firm with working legs and upper body at once. its hard to tell with the short preivew at collage. i should check her site and see if she has a clip. from the sounds of your reivew and breakdown of slim and lean it seems i would much prefer that one over this one. i have to agree on the triceps but i think if i went heavier i would have felt it more. i certainly did feel the biceps and i used dumbbells. the thing about some upper body work and me with barbells is that my stronger side tends to do more of the work and i don't get an even workout. at least with dumbbells each side has to work equally as hard to get the weight up. kassia fitgrl222@... wrote: I have her Slim & Lean workout and like it a lot. will probably be more up your alley.

im pretty sure that she does have clips on her website... also you

could try www.cksales.com - they often seem to have different clips

than collagevideo.

Yes Ripped to the Core is more compound exercises. Jari has said that Ripped was for beginners/low intermediate and her other offerings would be for intermediate and advanced.

S & L has the weight breakdowns as well and it also tells you how many reps you'll be doing and if there will be any pulsing.

Core has the weight breakdowns and tells you what muscles you'll be using.

Both workouts also has someone in a preview showing what the move is and how your form should look. In most of the exercises she has 2 people standing so there's a side view for form. Core she has Ben doing the most advanced of many of the exercises so you have something to reach for.

I like all 3 of hers but I haven't decided if S & L or Core are my favorites yet. I can't wait for the next ones in November.

And I forgot...she also has something on Core that tells you how much you *could* burn a minute. So it'll say something like " Calories Burned 10.2/min "

LOL i just remembered afterwards. yeah its a pretty lame segment. when she says you don't have to do a 100 crunches for the ripped look, which i agree, but i think a few more minutes wouldn't have killed us. i used the ball and felt it a little more then doing it on the floor but still nothing like denise or cathe ab workouts. kassiaCarolyn or Visser <pvisser@...> wrote: hi kassia! what? no comment on the lame ab segment in this workout?
