Guest guest
Oooo, I think I can finally share something of my own creation!!! LOL I make myself a milk & salt bath that I love. I mix equal parts of powered milk, powered buttermilk, sea salt, epsom salt and then I add two 200 UI Vit. E capsules and a few drops of EO or FO - I like Sweet Orange FO myself. I put it all in a jar, shake well and it's ready to go. I do notice that if I let it sit a few days (shaking it everyday), the fragrance really permeates through the whole mixture. ____________________________________________ Traci & Mark <)))>< Blessing #7 due 2/3/02 www.samilywebdesign.com ~ www.traciscottage.com www.mannafarms.com ~ www.crunchypets.com www.preschool-at-home.com
Guest guest
Hello everyone! I was wondering what the chances are that one of you (or more) might have a milk bath receipt? I have been looking for one, for many years. I still can't find the one that I like. Many years ago, I bought on at Bath and Body works.. they since have discontinued it. I am sure if I could find a receipt I could play with it until I got it the way I wanted. Many thanks in advance for your time on this! Have a lovely weekend! Guest guest
Basically the same recipe but instead of the salts, use milk,or powdered goatsmilk, buttermilk, powdered honey, Vit e, and fragrance. For me it is always lavender and Ylang YlangIII. Another version is to add powdered oatmeal to the mix. Actually I like all three versions. Guest guest
Then do you pour it into your bathwater or just put it on your face or what? Guest guest
Is there any remedy for making scented candles smell good while they are buring, and not just when they are sniffed? I'm going into business for myself selling candles(wax and gel), and melt and pour soaps. I would like to get some advice for a few of you if I may. Guest guest
It all boils down to the wick. The scent comes from the pool of melted wax or gel, if your wick doesn't burn properly your warming pool wont be large enough and you wont have much scent. I would call and talk to someone at craftexpress. www.craftexpress.com. They also have a very reasonably priced candle gel and great prices on wax and wicks. hope this helps! -katherine On Tue, 2 Oct 2001 15:51:41 -0700 (PDT), wrote: > Is there any remedy for making scented candles smell good while they are > buring, and not just when they are sniffed? _______________________________________________________ Send a cool gift with your E-Card http://www.bluemountain.com/giftcenter/
Guest guest
How shelf stable is the powdered milk? Guest guest
How long does this stay shelf stable? I was wanting to make a milk bath but I wasn't sure about the lasting qualities.
