yeh, I noticed that none of the 3 articles sent out mentioned chiropracatic despite the 'dire straits' of their patients.....it's disgusting. It would be easy to get bitter about what appears to be an attitude so determined to avoid sanctioning chiropractic that the allopathic community continues to IGNORE the damage of structural integrity and all of the cascading problems that develop.

We need to be our own educational mechanism. Sunny

Also, no mention of chiropractic here either Sunny!!http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/501997?src=mpThe last paragraph summed it up for me:Our series suggest that chronic daily headaches are a recognized small subset of the pediatric headache experience. Affected individuals overwhelmingly tend to be young adolescent females experiencing a transformed migraine. Chronic daily headache can thus best be considered largely as part of the migrainous spectrum. Analgesic abuse appears to be a factor in its pathogenesis in a subset of patients. These patients pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges to the specialist. Clarity regarding our present understanding of the criteria for chronic daily headache diagnosis and its particular pediatric manifestations will assist in accurate recognition, which is a necessary precondition to correct management. Such management must include a multidimensional approach emphasizing reassurance, education, and, where indicated, migraine prophylaxis. Such a multidimensional approach can result in a favorable outcome for the majority of patients, with a portion achieving complete resolution of symptoms within the near or intermediate term.Dr. ph Medlin D.C.Spine Tree Chiropractic1627 NE Alberta St. #6Portland, OR 97211Ph: 503-788-6800c: 503-889-6204 With MSN Spaces email straight to your blog.
