My husband and I had a dairy farm back in the early 80's...the best milk I have ever had came fresh out of our bulk tank. If the farmer handles his cows properly (and nowadays there are many requirements) then there should be no off flavor or smell to raw milk. KandyHi Stacey and ,How does raw milk taste? I grew up in upstate NY two houses down from a dairy farm. We spent lots of time there as we were great friends with their boys. However, I remember the times that we had raw milk at their house, I swear it smelled like cow manure and/or had a really different taste than our store bought milk.
