Guest guest
I have done it with Callanetics. I like it that way. How have you organized your day? I ask this because those people who actually schedule LifeLift breaths into the day, meals and snacks into the day, supplements into the day, water into the day, etc. actually achieve their goals faster than those who don't. All of these play a role in the whole picture. Karma Life Lift with Callanetics > Has anyone ever thought of doing Life Lift breaths with Callanetics > exercises? Guest guest
Like I said, I just got the videos last night so today was my first whole day with LL. This was today. Wake up, do my LL workout #2, get ready, eat breakfast, take my vitamin, drive to work and do a portion of the commuter CD, drink water at work, took a quick walk around work (aprox 1/4 mile), more water, listened to more of the commuter CD going to lunch, had lunch at home, more commuter CD coming back from lunch, water and (estimated from here on out) another quick walk around work, water, leave work and finish commuter CD (obviously I live close to work), go on walk with neighbor, eat dinner, drink water and go to sleep. How do I look? I am not a snack person so I don't have any of them listed. I just eat my 3 meals a day. My new goal is to get all of my water in. I have been better about it lately, but since I am starting this new program I figure I'll go all out. Oh, and about the Callanetics, do you do it to a video, or just do some of the moves. Would I do the breath just before I start the movement, and then pause when I need to take another breath? Thanks > I have done it with Callanetics. Guest guest
Callanetics are exercises named after their creator Callan Pickney. She had a bad back and created exercises that became popular back in the 80s that would alleviate her pain and reshape her body with no impact. The exercises isolate a muscle and move it with miniscule movements. I'm talking like a 1/4 " each time with 100 reps. After only 7 sessions (1 hour each) I had already lost a total of 5 " . If you read the reviews on amazon.com and you can get a good idea. Also on the following review, it gives you a LOT of info. http://www.epinions.com/content_14564757124 > What is callistenetics? Guest guest
Hi , I'm sorry about the loss of your baby. I do LL breaths with quite a few different kinds of exercise. I do them with Pilates, walking tapes, and all types leg lifts, sit ups, etc. etc. etc. LL enhances other types of exercise and I'm sure that it would be great with callanetics. I've tried Body Flex (BF), Oxycise (O), and Life Lift (LL). BF worked for me but caused problems with my asthma. O gave me a severe sore throat and LL is wonderful!!!!!!! I've lost 30 lbs. plus many inches with LL and my asthma is better. I've gone from a size 18 to sizes varying from a 4/6 to a 14 and my 14's are baggy. LL is very gentle, energizing, and effective!!!!! You'll love it!!!!! Take care!!! Guest guest
Oooo, I had not even thought of doing LL with my Walk Away the Pounds videos. Hmm I've never done a LL breath while walking. Do you just breath the LL way instead of normally for a few minutes? Thank you for your concern also. > Hi , > > I'm sorry about the loss of your baby. > > I do LL breaths with quite a few different kinds of exercise. Guest guest
Hi , I do LL breaths while I'm walking just one after another after another etc. etc. Today I did 100 LL breaths while doing the Walk Away the Pounds 2 mile tape. Guest guest
> Hi, all, where can I find a beginner callanetic tape? Thanks > Hi and all - I'm a new member here, and new with LL breathing, so it's nice to have something to contribute right away! After reading the thread on this board, I found a couple of Callanetics tapes on eBay and also on half.com. Just write 'Callanetics' in the search box. I used to do Callanetics years ago but gave my tapes away in a tidying purge. They are hard to find now, so it was fun to find some for discounted prices! I'm looking forward to the combination for faster results on my lower body (aaargh). Peace and Blessings, Noelle
Guest guest
I'll have to try that. Guest guest
I would recommend the original Callanetics tape for people who are learning. That is the most descriptive and has all different parts of your body to work on. It is in a blue box. It lasts for an hour, but the body sections are separated so you could do one part of your body a day. They sell them brand new at amazon.com and on ebay as well. You might want to check at garage sales or thrift stores because you could find them for $1. I know I did, of course AFTER I had already purchased it brand new for $9.99 at amazon. Good luck! > > Hi, all, where can I find a beginner callanetic tape?
