Guest guest
, They are actually very good for mass casualty situation but I would suggest you make sure you are well familiar with them before the event. They are a useful tool but you still need to be a bit callous in regard to triage each box does contain a triage sieve aide memoire which is worth getting blown up to A3 size and put prominently on a wall somewhere.... Cheers Ian Cruciform Triage Cards My back to back has ordered and i never knew anything about them and i have never used them before. How useful are they. They come in boxes of 10 or 25 if that makes any sense to you. What the ususl kind of stock level for a POB of 50-60. Cheers Member Information: List owner: Ian Sharpe Owner@... Guest guest
These cards are for mass casualty situations. Unless you have a 'Piper Alpha' type situation you will never use them. Most armed forces medics, ambulance paramedics and emergency room nurses will be familiar with them. You shouldn't need more than 25 and you can always produce your own onboard triage cards. Guest guest
, The same company also do first aid cards which are similar but for use in day to day situations and therefore far handier. They'll send you a sample pad if you ask them nicely, Cheers, Tom watkinson >From: " " <richie_sykes@...> >Reply- > >Subject: Cruciform Triage Cards >Date: Sun, 06 Oct 2002 12:43:30 -0000 > >My back to back has ordered and i never knew anything about them and >i have never used them before.
