Guest guest
Hi Iva, Thanks you're so sweet!!!! Here are a couple of exercises that I do for the waist. 1. Side to Side: You stand with your knees slightly bent. You do your breathing and while you're holding your breath you move your waist from side to side, like you're swaying to a very nice song, however you try not to move your shoulders, feet, or legs. It's all in the waist. Wasting away the waist. :-) Do this movement as many times as you can while holding your breath. 2. Another one that I do is I stand with my knees slightly bent, do the breathing and while I'm holding my breath I twist and do punching motions, like you're punching someone, but your right fist will punch to the left and left fist to the right because you're twisting. I also do this as many times as I can while holding my breath. I used to do this exercise without the punching, but the punching movements make it more fun. 3. A good oblique (sides of waist) exercise is you lay on your back with your knees bent. Do the breathing and while you're holding your breath you lift your right shoulder off the ground and twist, reaching your right hand over to touch your left outer thigh. Hold as long as you can while still holding your breath. Don't forget to do the other side. I usually do 5 on each side. 4. I also like the exercise that Greer does on BF. When you stand, do the breathing and reach your hand up and over your head towards the opposite side. Just a regular side stretch. This stretch is very effective. I hope you understand these. If not, let me know and I'll try and explain them better. I hope they help you to " WASTE AWAY YOUR WAIST. " Love, Liz ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today! Guest guest
Just to add to this, I also do belly dance type moves. Go to the library and check out some belly dancing videos. Practice just moving the rib cage back and forth like I Dream of Jeannie! OR try doing the hula. Work those muscles in a side to side motion. My waist is one of my best features and I do a lot of the above type things. ~Karma karma@... http://loaves-n-fishes.com Re: Waist Exercises (For Iva) Hi Iva, Thanks you're so sweet!!!!
