Guest guest
Once we handed the Dr. Our exemptions our physicals lasted all of ten minutes, for school and sports. We went to a place called Prompt Care, like immediate care. They don't vax!!!! So it wasn't even an issue. During our boys last physicals we requested that the exemptions be placed on their files. My daughter is five and didn't see our ped for more than three years until she had the flu. My boys have gone more than three years without being sick enough to see the Ped. Shouldn't be a problem. My youngest is 8 mo and hasn't seen a ped since six weeks old for jaundice. She hasn't been sick since so I'm not taking her near a disease infested Ped office. I just shrunk copies of their exemptions for the boys to put in their wallets, just last night! ;)Good luck and practice saying No, No, No...........Toni Sent from my iPhoneNmidaughterseyes@...On Nov 30, 2009, at 4:28 PM, "Venita Garner" <nitagarner@...> wrote: One, two one two.. puff puff.. Got david his physical app’t for his teeth getting capped. The nurse said she thought the doc would want a regular 4 y.o. physical check up… is he going to bug me about vaccines? I don’t know. are there any shots that are supposed to be given at 4 years? If he looks and wonders he will see david hasn’t been to him but once or twice in his whole life so I’m prepared to say I have a family doctor I like to use as well as a homeopath and a chiropractor. We’ll see how it goes . his app’t is Friday Now, at 13 months when he saw david he didn’t mention at all the fact he’d not seen him for that whole year and didn’t mention at all the fact he was vaccine free. since this is a physical though, I’m not expecting the same no mentioning thing.. though it would be nice if it doesn’t even come up. I’ll take that. Guest guest
I had no trouble at the 4 year old appt. At that point our ped hasn't seen for about 2 years. I got no flack about it. He knows I don't vax and was only sick once the first 2 years we saw the ped. They did their regular checkup plus whatever was needed for the school form. No problems.
