Doris- Once you don't have anymore bugs in your environment and it's been a few months I think it's safe to take out your belongings. Have you treated systemic infections? My grandson has his Xbox and and every game that came before it, I keep changing my mind and paying the storage a little longer. In April I had to get some income tax papers out and brought a big case out of storage - sure enough, I started getting itchy all over right away. I ironed the papers I needed and used a special wand I bought to kill bacteria. It is a long wand with ultra violet rays. Then I threw away a lot of papers I didn't really need to keep anyway. On other things I have been using the ultra violet wand to clear away the mold. IT'S SO SCARY - AND SO HARD TO BELIEVE HOW THESE LITTLE MITES HAVE BROUGHT ME TO THIS POINT. I feel like I'm working with explosives or something when I touch an item that was in that old invested place!!! Such craziness. bird mites Sent: Thursday, August 25, 2011 9:22 PMSubject: Re: Re: move away from the mites when nothing else works Since I moved I'll never know if I could have eradicated it or not. I packed away all my clothes that weren't contaminated. I moved in with my parents and my belongings stayed in storage for nearly a year. In fact, I just recently moved again and unpacked and have no mold or bugs on my things. I wore only fabrics that the organisms couldn't attach to- nylon, smooth polyesters, leather, lycra, vinyl, etc. I slept with a nylon shower curtain and nylon inside and out sleeping bag. Today I am able to wear cotton and all fabrics again, thank god! I threw out much of my clothes. One of the organisms likes cotton and would attach to clothing fibers and embed in my skin, It was so bizzare!! Was never tested for anything, not sure I need it now since I feel good. What would I tell a doctor about symptoms. Again they would say I was trying to manufacuter a problem since I am delusional.........~but I do wonder sometimes if I may have some dormant infection, but then if it's dormant, why disturb it. > > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > >> >> >>
