I'm basically suggesting trying the antibacterial or antifungal route if the Staninger protocol doens't workout. Staninger's protocol was a last resort for me. I tried the drugs first. I bought the drugs off of http://www.magicpharma.com/. I couldn't find a doctor who would prescribe them for me that was in my state so I bought them from that website. They don't require a prescription. I tried all the drugs separately to see if one did something for me for a month and a half. (A lot of people bought Ivermectin from that website too. Ivermectin is only a temporary relief though.) Eventually the bugs grow resistant to it. I think Staininger suggests not to use drugs.

Here are some that have worked for other Morgellons sufferes:1. Bactrim (This worked for the guy who did www.howicuremorgellons.com)2. I think they were on it for 3 months? They also tossed everything and their carpet though.3. Diflucan I know this has worked for some people but I don't know of

any long time success stories. 4. Lyme antibacterials - LucyLu from this website is on them and it got rid of it for her, some woman I read about in Washington, some other stories. I do remember that you still have some low level of symptoms at times.

I would love it if you could write down what others have found that significantly helps... as well as your own experience when you have time. I think Tim (or the management) would put it in a file for all of us of the site.

We've been been doing the entire Dr. S protocol for a few months. But our sauna broke a week ago. They will send a replacement panel in the next few weeks... :-( We hope it will be here soon, as the sauna is the part of the protocol (along with happy Tummy and the OxyDry caps) which appear to help at least a bit for us.

What do you mean by the anti-fungal and anti-bacterial route from Magic pharma? Are they different then Dr. S or HHA or our MD's treatments? Have others with this condition been helped by them? I'll google the website. We will try anything healthy for us that other have had success with until we are COMPLETELY free of this. We are like you, in that we see this as a long, long process now and don't think there is 1 isolated solution anymore.

We're pretty sure there are still real live clear microscopic bird mites in our house, work and cars and we will keep plugging away at cleaning, vacuuming, etc... as our time and energy allow. We do think there are less of them in our home and work then there used to be.

We also think there is a continual re-infestation of these into our bodies from the environment. Whatever this is seems very happy to live in our orifices, our digestive tract perhaps, and likely in/on our skin. So we will keep up external/internal detox for a long long time.
