Guest guest
Thank you all for your kind words of sympathy. Yesterday, when I read my cousin's email, I felt like someone had just kicked me in the stomach. But I am okay. My grandmother is doing well, although she is in constant prayer and she breaks down every few minutes. She keeps saying that she's next in line to go. I don't know the pain of losing a sibling. I know if anything happened to my brother I'd be absolutely devastated. I'm just glad my great-uncle went in peace and that the family didn't have to make the decision whether to take him off life-support or not. I don't know how they would ever be able to make that decision. My aunt lost the love of her life. I thank God they loved each other so much. Yet the pain she is in is incomprehensible to me. I pray for God to give us all strength and to be able to let my uncle rest in peace. I was wondering, if a person dies, and a family member cannot let them go spiritually and they keep crying and wishing them to be alive, is that person's spirit in rest or not? I know my uncle wouldn't want us falling apart like this or for his wife to be in so much pain. So is he not at rest yet? Any opinions??? ~Meg. " Re: Complaints cite airline wheelchair service I dont get out of my chair when riding on anything. It would be too big of a hassle to get in and out of my chair as often as I get in and out of the car. As for on the plane... I find no difference in safety if you are tied down properly. Their seats offer the same seatbelt that a wheelchair offers. And if they would put you at the front of the row, youre still in a row. Just my opinion of it all... --- Patie <lilcia2001@...> wrote: > well, i wouldn`t agree with you. i mean i don`t > think that sitting on your own chair during the > flight would be safe. it might be arraged probably, > but i still think that sitting on their sit and > being in a row etc. is still safer than sitting on > the wheelchair. besides sitting on your chair in a > bus is almost like standing. i feel much better > sitting in a normal car sit than riding a car in > wheelchair. and it`s same everywhere... > love & light > patie > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > __________________________________ - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail. Guest guest
, I'm very sorry for your loss. I know this is a hard time for you. I lost my father in March. It was not unexpected, but it was still a shock. We're never prepared for this kind of thing. I always loved my dad, and I still do, and I know that in some ways he'll always be with me. I don't know if any of that helps, or might help later; but please know you are in my thoughts. -Carl > > Hi all, > I wanted you all to know that I'm going to be gone, > so to speak, for a little while. Guest guest
Thank you for the prayers. We are not 100% sure what happened but we suspect he had a seizure while very near the railroad tracks and that he stood there while the train bore down on him. Many times when he has a seizure he is able to stand and he just stares into space and is oblivious to his surroundings. He apparently was on his way home as he lived just over the tracks and from what we were later told he had been up to Sugar Creek store (one of his favorite hangouts in his very small village) and had had a seizure there at the store. Many times when he has been there and had a seizure they call the ambulance but for some reason this time they did not. Darlene > > Prayers go out to you. I am assuming it was an accident.
