Guest guest
Hello all, I had my hot flashes, at almost nil (in perimenopause) until I started THE TRUE WHEY..after a month on TW, hot flashing was happening about 2- 3/hour/day. DOES THIS MEAN I AM LOSING ESTROGEN??? I liked True Whey, except for this experience. I am going to start Renewpro, tommorrow, and see if the HF start again. Would you lower your dose to adjust for less symptomalogy? I had increased the dose up to about 10-20 grams. Has this happened to anyone, else? TIA, Amelia

DOES THIS MEAN I AM LOSING ESTROGEN??? ***I see no reason it would cause you to lose estrogen, particularly the good kind. The glutathione boost from using this product should knock down the extra oxidative intermediates of estrogen metabolism that those with the CYP1B1 SNP common to many PWCs would have given this SNP. Your body may be having hot flashes independant of this therapy and perhaps this treatment is causing systems that have been inhibited or depleted of cysteine to come back on line, a good sign? > > I liked True Whey, except for this experience. So, using just the amount needed for the desired effect is a good way to go and experimenting a bit at lesser doses shouldn't hurt, you can always go back up in dose if it seems the lesser dose is not effective. I had increased the dose up > to about 10-20 grams. ***I think the key thing to pay attention is the amount of cysteine per day. No more than 300mg of cysteine is the way to go as higher amounts have been shown can be toxic. RenewPro, which I use no more than one and a quarter scoops per day seems to do this, I started out at two scoops per day for a while to get my glutathione ramped up but the lesser dose seems to sustain the same benefits. > > Has this happened to anyone, else? ***Surprising at it may seem, hot flashes have never been an issue with me > > TIA, > Amelia ***

Tweaking and experimenting with all that you take and do is the way to figure this one out, IMO. > > In the archives, Marcia reported hot flashes, as well on Message > #84739, relative to WP, as well as, other forms of glutathione. > I suppose that she is not here, anymore, is that correct? ***Yes, I recall her wanting to take a break from this list for a while. She also had a problem with mercury mobilization, which could be problematic if your glutathione has not come up sufficiently and, even then, added treatments such as things to chelate heavy metals may still be necessary to get rid of them and the active infections that use them to thwart our immune system that might otherwise knock them out. ...I tried > emailing her to see if she found a solution. > > I had one remarkable day from the WP.. How long does it > take to start having a lot of good days on Renewpro? ***There is no explicit number of days on this stuff for feeling better and, in fact, you can have many things improve in your body(ie, diabetes insipidus, hypothyroidism, exercise tolerance, etc) and not FEEL much better though you are improving your health like me because of nondenatured whey use. It took me at least four months to start noticing these objective improvement and an entire year of using the product before I no longer needed to take thyroid meds, but indeed this improvement did happen ultimately and has stuck. > > Thanks for your learned responses. > Amelia ***
Guest guest
I have had this experience everytime I have taken whey products. I never thought of them as hot flashes but I would get very hot and sweaty and would feel very sick. And you may need to test with a UTM challenge over several months to spot s trend in which metals are coming out, continuing treatment if so (no single test at any single time can determine toxic metal level retention in our organs). > > .Did removing amalgams and detoxing help you a great deal? ***No, removing amalgams only removed a source and cause no improvements. I suspect the mercury from tuna, metal from other sources as well as amalgams from dental work and mom's almalgams at fetal stage had already loaded me up, but detoxing through RenewPro use and oral DMPS chelation has make the most difference thus far as I've mentioned here before. Guest guest
HI , Since I am CBS upregulated I cannot do the DMPS, etc. My doc and I have been discussing EDTA to get some of the metals out. My glutationie is just under the low mark, do you think I can get away with this?? Do you think it would help without making me sicker?? Thanks for your imput, Janet davidhall2020 <david-hall@...> wrote: Hi, Amelia.
