Tonight I binged. NOT just a small binge, after I ate dinner I ate 2 reg donuts and 2 mini ones. I feel so full, and depressed. On top of being sick I am so sad I did this.

Tomorrow's a new day, - don't be hard on yourself, just pick up and move on.

we all have those moments. The big question is did you enjoy it. If you felt awful the whole time then most likely you were eating out of some type of stress. I find when I binge if I really enjoy it then maybe it was worth it. You know like when you dont eat something and say it is ok to have just one portion and you really enjoy it. BUT if you are eating out of stress OR every bite you are feeling guilt then it most likely wasnt worth it. BUT we have to learn from these binges. Forgive and move forward. Do a little extra exercise and I bet it wont show on the scale. I am trying to learn from my binges to get them under control. OR as I call it closet eating.

Did I mention a few weeks ago about the web site and newsletter from Our

Lady Of Weight Loss?

http://www.ourladyofweightloss.com

One of the things she has in every weekly newsletter is the Weighty

Confession column, where people write things similar to what you just did.

The response is always " All is forgiven. Move on. "

Hi ...

This happens to all of us at one point or another. What makes the

difference for me is how quickly I can forgive myself and move on.

Wishing you the gift of forgiveness for yourself.

I'll have to think about it. BUT I think I did it becasue I was still hungry after dinner. I just really wanted those so I ate them in the kitchen where no one could see me. Today I am up another pound. <sigh> at least I haven't gained back all the weight I lost. Blessed be,

I know different people feel differently about this, but my opinion for all it is worth, is I would stay off that scale on a day after eating donuts or anything like that "off program" as you call it - cuz you know it isn't gonna be "good" and only drive you insane. Our weight - especially as women - fluctuate several pounds through out the month with our cycles alone, not to mention eating things filled with sodium, calories, etc. Eating in the kitchen is where we are supposed to eat, so I wouldn't say that is "bad", but you say it was "where no one could see you" so that tells me "hiding to eat" - which is an eating behavior/disorder - this is one of the reasons I have made eating in the car a no-no.... I'd say if you are gonna have donuts, make it special - get out a plate, sit down and enjoy it - don't feel guilty over it. Now, today's a new day, get up and move on....

Hugs,

I love how "real" you are. You are so wonderful. I have been battling eating disorders all my life. In my teens I was anorexic and Bulimic, NOW I have gone the other way. I know this is not good so I share it all with you, because most people wouldn't understand. Blessed be,

I'm glad you feel that way and weren't offended. It's easy to write what we feel on here no holds barred, ya know? In person it might have been a different story: "oh I am so sorry you feel that way, what can I do or say to help you?" But, definitely look at the "why" behind some of the eating "issues" that you folks are having. Do you keep a journal Miss so you can log when/where/why you are eating? It might help, so you can go back and see patterns. If going out to a certain place with a certain person or something triggers you... I would get away from those triggers. Granted, going to the in-laws might not be an option at times, but other things we can pull back from.

No I don't keep a journal. I used to but not anymore. I found it was a hassle.I will do my best to be "good" on our trip... We are leaving in a couple hours. Blessed be,

Good luck! And if your family starts to hassle you, just remind them that

what you weigh is of no concern of theirs, that it's your body and you're

handling it.

See you when you get back, and have fun!
