How often would you use it topically? Once a day? And when? At night or

daytime?

Also would the ratio that soaked into the skin be the same as when

taken orally?

Rate of absorption through the skin in around one humdred percent in mucosal membranes and the genitals. 9% in the hands and feet. There is a wide range of absorption so your systemic dose is smaller than what you apply topically. Depending on what medium you use with to deliver any product to the skin, absorption times can vary from 1- to 45 seconds.

May I suggest using coconut oil to deliver whatever you treat your skin with. Not only is it a penetrant, but it has amazing healing properties for the skin. It is commonly used for wounds, inflammation, and pain. It helps to heal scars, acne, keloids, psorasis, and other skin conditions. After bathing, it will help to restore your skins pH. It supports healing and repair by helping the skin form a chemical barrier to ward of infection and fungus. It therefor forms with whatever you are applying with it on the skin, allowing more dose to stay on the upper layers of your skin. AND its cheap, all natural with no dimethicone, silica, or parabens. All of which one will want to avoid but its nearly impossible as these are in most cosmetic lotions and Rx lotions today.
