Guest guest
I really need magnesium. Pills don't seem to help much, only injections. But I can only stand so many of those. Epsom Salts soaks also helps some, but not enough. I noticed in Dr. Cheney's lecture in Connecticut, he mentions a " Magnesium Paste " . This sounds like a wonderful alternative to shots. Does anyone have any further information about this - where to obtain, how much to take, etc? -- in AZ I don't know if anybody has posted this interview with Dr. Cheney which was conducted by the Connecticut CFIDS Association. Guest guest
It was interesting to see Cheney relying on the old favorites; magnesium, klonopin, isoprinosine - nothing really new under the sun - not even growth hormone. Guest guest
Ladies My solution is to take small doses of Mg hydroxide orally several times a day to correct the underlying imbalance that caused so much pain and other problems for many years. Vitamin B6 is its co-factor. I avoid needles. Long soaking warm warm baths with 2 to 3 cups of Epsom salt (MgSO4) are also very helpful. MgSO4 is what is usually in an IV infusion. Hope this helps mjh In a message dated 2/18/06 5:28:02 AM Eastern Standard Time, tensevern@... writes: > DesertGal wrote: > >I noticed in Dr. Cheney's lecture in Connecticut, he mentions a > > " Magnesium Paste " . Guest guest
Dear Katrina (in identity crisis) Magic Lotion is a product of Jim what'shisname's Twilight America. What bothers me about it is that not all ingredients are listed. I'm sensitive to a lot of stuff, 'natural' or not. Peppermint for it's menthol would be a nice addition. THe three primary herbs -- St 's Wort, Arnica and Lavendar -- are wonderful and gentle healers. Arnica is not for internal use unless in its homeopathic form. I suspect the gel base is aloe vera, but not having had a product in hand, that's just a guess. Of to take a WARM rather than HOT bath in your honor.... will add a few drops of Lavendar essential oil along with the Epsom salt. Hope you feel better soon. mjh - Mg fan In a message dated 2/18/06 10:43:47 AM Eastern Standard Time, kattemayo@... writes: > > I like the link Sue posted...Magic Lotion...I wonder if it really does all > of those things?! > > I always like mjh's ideas. > I'm limited on the warm baths, tho. > > > Katrina, > in identity crisis >
Guest guest
Hi , Before I knew about the Kirkman paste, I found " Dr. sHealy's Biogenics Magnesium Lotion " . It is this cool, clear goopy gel that smells like lavender. It has MG Chloride in it. It's soothing to heart and muscles. They also make another form in a bottle w/o lavender smell. Then, I ordered the Kirkmanlabs MG paste ( " Epsom Salts in a jar " ). It has MG sulfate. It also calms heart and muscles right away. I think it's stronger than sHEALy's, but I'm still experimenting. I think Dr. Cheney is using it when he's actually testing patients on Echo...and seeing results right there. I also inject every day and take an oral form that Dr, Cheney started me on... Labs, Magnesium Glycinate Forte. It has L-Carnitine, Taurine and COq10. But the paste/gels are pretty handy. I like the link Sue posted...Magic Lotion...I wonder if it really does all of those things?! I always like mjh's ideas. I'm limited on the warm baths, tho. Guest guest
Katrina - Would it work to dissolve Epsom salts in just enough water to make a paste, and then smear it on your sore spots, instead of having to order Kirkmans's? (and do I understand you to say that you think Dr C is using the Kirkmans paste while testing patients on the Echo, instead of the 'under the tongue' mag spray that I had heard he was using while testing patients?) thank you, les Re: Dr. Cheney Connecticut interview - magesium paste Hi , Before I knew about the Kirkman paste, I found " Dr. sHealy's Biogenics Magnesium Lotion " . Guest guest
Hi , It sure sounds like it would work, but I don't know, have not tried it or heard. About the paste/echo...I did mean that, but not instead of the spray. (in addtion?). I just heard about the paste first...but don't listen to me on this part...it's been awhile since I was told about it...memory not great. Katrina > > > > I really need magnesium.
