Guest guest Posted February 21, 2003 Report Share Posted February 21, 2003 ZADAXIN is an Immune System Enhancer currently in two 500 patient phase 3 hepatitis C clinical trials in the U.S., a 300 patient phase 3 hepatitis B clinical trial in Japan, two phase 2 liver cancer trials in the U.S. and a phase 2-3 cancer program in Europe. ZADAXIN is administered subcutaneously and is a pure sterile synthetic preparation of a natural peptide, thymosin alpha 1, which among other positive actions, enhances the body's Th1 immune response to serious viral infections and to certain cancers. SCV-07 is the lead candidate in a new class of small molecule Immune System Enhancers and has the potential to be orally administered.
