It is well known to help eliminate brainfog and improve memory, and certainly helps me. I only need a single 120 mg capsule per day, but there's no harm in starting low and working up to higher doses until you see an effect. re the Ginseng, which kind was it? Eleuthero and Panax have very different effects on the body. Panax Ginseng has been helpful to me for overall energy and resilience, but Eleuthero made me feel awful. -- el - andrea@... Guest guest
I find Phosphatydal Serine really improves my brain.
Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the info. The article did not specify which type og Ginseng. I am actually taking Siberian Ginseng. Guest guest
I'm not surprised since on the www.endfatigue.com web site, in the section where patients vote on supplements, many had good results with it. What is really so funny about this combo is that I knew about it 10 years ago and I was laughed at - now same doc says to take this stuff! ;-) I KNEW I was right - about ginko for brain function anyway. Ginsing can cause adverse reactions in some people however. Too stimmuating according to herb teacher, but take that with the grain of salt! You don't really want your cortisol levels lowered during the day right because you could become more tired and lethargic?

Guest guest
I was referring to Phosphatidyl Serine, not Gingko. Ginseng after about 4 pm can keep me awake all night! And I'm not sure about them lowering cortisol levels - that might only apply to those whose cortisol levels are too high already due to stress, and not necessarily to PWCs whose cortisol is already too low. Anybody? Also, I have heard conflicting info w.r.t. phosphatidyl serine - contraindicated in 's syndrome, and therefore suspect for us due to depressed HPA-axis activity (low adrenal hormones). I tried taking it, assuming I'd have more alertness, and it made me feel ill and wiped out. Again, anybody know anything about this? -- el - andrea@...
