Guest guest
Congrats on getting back on track ! It is always motivational for me to hear success stories and continuing BFL stories. Good luck on dropping that dress size! Guest guest
You go girl! I'm doing pretty well so far too. I even bought a recumbent exersize bike last week so even on those rainy or ridiculously hot days when I can't walk Rugby (my dog) I won't have an excuse for no cardio. Also I finally went for allergy testing after years of the sniffles and I am allergic to mold and fungus (which is year round) and extremely allergic to every ragweed known to man and ragweed season starts in about a month. Since I can't decide whether to do the allergy shots or not I might be doing a lot of indoor exersizing coming up real soon! But on the good side of my allergy visit, my lung capacity is better than 100%, even with a touch of exersize/allergy induced asthma. My doc said to keep doing whatever I was doing! Guest guest
Wanted to share this good news. Eddie forgot to include this group, but he’s still a member here. Eddie, hope you don’t’ mind my sharing with the Dummies, but I figured you sent it to everyone else so it wasn’t supposed to be a secret! De [GAHepCSupport] Update! Been a while since I've touched base here but it's been a busy busy year so far. It's been almost two years since I stopped TX.. It's been a funky 2 yrs to say the least. As some might remember I was taken off the TX when the sides got to bad. It took six months to get half way back to normal but any improvement was a blessing. My viral load shot back up and I had a hard time getting my Hemoglobin down to the pt. that I didn't have to have blood drawn every 2 wk's. For the last 2 test my enzyme level are all within the limits and my viral load is below 1000. All my blood work keeps coming back looking better every 6 months, and for the most part my life is back to normal. Working 12 to 14 hrs 5 days a week, and Debbie leaves me in bed most of the day Sunday unless there is a race. The only side I can't shake is that by the end of the week I'm wiped out, thus the Sunday snooze, and I'll have three weeks where all is well and then I'll have one of those killer weeks that it hurts to even wiggle my fingers. I hate have the bad week every so often but I truly be live that the 12 weeks of TX. gave my liver the help it needed to knock the hep back. Not consuming alcohol, and changing my life style didn't hurt either Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body...but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, WOW! What a ride! " ... Eddie Hinman

Guest guest
Hello everybody! So it has been a long loong looong time since I've been on here. I see that there are still a bunch of people posting whom I recognize from 5 years ago! Thats awesome! I hope you are all doing well! My A is fairly under control. I don't really think about it often, my little issues are just a part of life, and I don't really pay notice. I still get stuckages proabably daily, but a sip of water or a moment of concentration and the problem usually resolves itself! I've only had 2 regurge episodes in the past year, so I can handle it. I had my second baby just over a year ago - July 4. I missed Canada's birthday, but made it for you American's! hahah While pregnant, my A definitely gets worse. Not unbearable, but for sure noticably. My surgeon would like to see me as soon as possible for a follow up (its been 5 years this coming September) from my myotomy. However...I've pretty much been pregnant or nursing for the past few years, so I'm unable to do the esopogeal transit test that he has his patients do. Swallowing a radioactive dye doesn't really mix well with pregnancy or nursing. He is not very flexible, and has no other alternative test (barium, etc) that he wants to be do instead. (with barium, the effects of the barium & xray wouldn't last as long, so I'd be able to make that work...) I will go see him as soon as I'm able! For those who don't know who I am, if you check back to Post # 20528, you can see my post on my 6 week check up. Brent and I are doing great. We are enjoying life with our 2 little boys, and our nephew who we take care of nearly full time. Things are good! My email address is abdale @ telus.net (no spaces) if anyone needs to contact me! I'll try to stick around here for the next few days again. Its hard to find internet time with so much going on around here! Hugs,
