Guest guest
Dear Friends, You know that saying: "Be careful what you wish for" ? Well, before I had the myotomy, many of my family and friends used to say things to me on the lines of "You have a lovely figure, you never put any weight on do you?" and I used to say "The chance would be a good thing." Since the myotomy I have gained nearly a stone in weight. I think that my body probably got used to coping with the amount of food I was able to eat and adjusted accordingly. Now that I eat a normal amount of food, as I say, my weight is slowly but surely going up and up. I do not want it to go any higher, but am having trouble making it halt, never mind going back down again. I am quite active and go to the gym, swim, walk, etc. so my metabolism should not be sluggish. Can anyone give me any advice on this problem that I never would have believed I would have? It is a problem that dismays me and makes me smile, both at the same time. With love from a blossoming Lilac Lady. XXX Try the all-new .
