Guest guest Posted February 19, 2006 Report Share Posted February 19, 2006 Unfortunately, since my wife has a very bad case of GERD, and has had the Nissen laparascopic fundoplication operation (to no avail), I keep my eye on our sister board on , the GERD board, for any suggestions. While there is nothing funny, in of itself, about manometry, I got a chuckle out of the two posts yesterday from GERD board members, copied below. The first one is a fair enough question. Re: Manometry I never heard of a manometry. What is it? And what is its purpose? Don't even know what a PH test is tho others have mentioned that too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe we should send an invitation over to the GERD members to inspect our previous posts.
