Guest guest
i am getting old so i can't spare killng brain cells unnecessarily one ounce of alcohole kills tens of thousands as i understand it thus my experiments with red wine versus resveratrol caps convinced me the lessened fine vison and lack of sharp edged mental clarity plus visible crow's feet where none previousl existed elminated any alcohol based product as a delivery means for reservatrol all the studies noting side benefits notwithstanding. as for the komodo dragon i read where their poison saliva like some girls i know has been successfully used to treat cancer. go figure. smiles. btw...i saw a dragon in nam sitting on a sandbar upriver from the south china sea, and it was over ten feet long, and i could not believe my eyes, so wrote it off to just one more of the many hallucinations i experienced in that land of mystery and death. that was before i knew komodo dragons even existed, thus the frequency of dragon heads painted on all the junks, and that leitmotif in general permeating the culture, became much more understandable. then when i read they live in caves, eat goats, and the gas from indigestion ignites when they belch, from their calcified toenails scraping on flintstones in the cave, i came to subscribe much more credibility to the general idea that some fact undelies all myth and legend. fire breathing dragons also exist in the brothels. smiles [Norton AntiSpam] Re: WebMD The Real Dr. Wolski Well there! You see---Dr. Wolski has shared with us just who he/she is, and we can indeed move on, unless others of us would like to share with the board who they really are. Truly, I think it matters not " who " a member is. What matters is that we help each other heal, and that we together examine what is real/true and what is not real/not true. I have read good stuff about resveratrol, too, DW, but when I tried to purchase some, I got VERY confused because there are so many different companies selling it, and under so many variations. Some companies sell grape seed extract, some sell grape skin extract, some sell actual resveratrol, others sell something that is supposed to be resveratrol, but that has a different name. Bill Sardi has his own product/own brand. Then there are those who say, " Don't take the resveratrol supplement; just drink a glass or two of red wine each night. HOW do I sort all that out? Can you offer any help, DW? I am already taking lots of supplements, by the way, and it appears resveratrol is not cheap. So I need to have GOOD reason to take it. Do you have any other links to good research on it? I expect if I went to PubMed I would come up with some good stuff. Oh, I almost forgot, DW---I think there may be Komodo dragons still running about on Borneo somewhere. Be very careful of them, as they do not accord with nature in general. That is, they do not necessarily kill their prey before they begin eating it. They will sometimes wait behind a bush or in the brush, then dart out and bite you on the leg. Their saliva is so putrid from dining on dead flesh that the bite wound soon becomes infected, and once you can no longer stand up or move very quickly, the Komodo dragon and his pals will converge on you and start eating you, whether you're dead or alive. PS - Don't confuse a real Komodo dragon with an orderly in a nursing home dragging a commode around. That is a different kind of " commode a'draggin. Guest guest
my two cents are that subjection to the tyranny of credentialization provides great insight into the depths of its victim. you judge a doctor by the quality of his thought, and expressions, not by how many letters follow his name. eg, brightest blessings is a dr imho, so dr wol, post on. i stand ready to learn from any source. best to all [Norton AntiSpam] Re: WebMD The Real Dr. Wolski That was meant to be a joke, Dr. Wolksi, but I deleted it subsequent to posting it, as I did not want to take the chance of offending you, even though I had no intention at all of offending you. My own feeling is that it is entirely a member's choice whether or not he reveals to others who he/she is. I do not care one way or the other. > > Gee, is that TRUE? > > Ingenuous RB > > Posted by: " breathedeepnow " aug20@... > breathedeepnow > > By the way, Dr. Wolski is a sheman originally from the island of Borneo. > He also earned a degree in tribal medicine at Oxford, and now has > returned to Borneo, where he is typing messages on a lap-top from his > hut deep in the Bornean jungle. > Isn't that right, Dr. Wolski? Guest guest
Not reservatrol, mommy; resveratrol. Similar to the mix-up betwanxt prostate cancer and prostrate cancer. Prostrate cancer, the cancer for dyslexic males. > > i am getting old > so i can't spare killng brain cells unnecessarily > one ounce of alcohole kills tens of thousands > as i understand it > thus my experiments with red wine > versus resveratrol caps > convinced me the lessened fine vison > and lack of sharp edged mental clarity > plus visible crow's feet > where none previousl existed > elminated any alcohol based product > as a delivery means for reservatrol > all the studies noting side benefits > notwithstanding. > as for the komodo dragon > i read where their poison saliva > like some girls i know > has been successfully used to treat cancer. > go figure. > smiles. > btw...i saw a dragon in nam sitting on a sandbar upriver from the south china sea, and it was over ten feet long, and i could not believe my eyes, so wrote it off to just one more of the many hallucinations i experienced in that land of mystery and death. > that was before i knew komodo dragons even existed, thus the frequency of dragon heads painted on all the junks, and that leitmotif in general permeating the culture, became much more understandable. > then when i read they live in caves, eat goats, and the gas from indigestion ignites when they belch, from their calcified toenails scraping on flintstones in the cave, i came to subscribe much more credibility to the general idea that some fact undelies all myth and legend. fire breathing dragons also exist in the brothels. > smiles > [Norton AntiSpam] Re: WebMD The Real Dr. Wolski > > > Well there!
