The M. Brodsky Foundation and Kisumu AIDS Marathon Organization are co-sponsoring the 2006 Kisumu World AIDS Marathon. Greeting cards are being sold and a box of 10 cards costs $11 dollars within the continental United States. In keeping with the upcoming holiday season, what a perfect gift to show you care about people less fortunate than yourself. Please consider expressing your heartfelt thanks to someone by writing your kind words on a card whose proceeds will help people afflicted with the AIDS virus and the 14,000,000 orphans in sub-Saharan Africa who have lost one or both parents to AIDS.

To purchase your 4.25†X 5.5†greeting cards, (ten in a clear box) please mail your check to the M. Brodsky Foundation, 1247 Mara Court, Atlantic Beach. NY 11509 or you may pay online via the M. Brodsky Foundation website, www.richardmbrodsky.org, or the World AIDS Marathon website, www.worldaidsmarathon.com. Additional boxes of greeting cards may be purchased in increments of $11 donations. Your cards will be mailed to the address on the check unless otherwise instructed.

Jodi and I () did complete the 2006 NYC Marathon and you can read about it on NEWSDAY’S link, http://www.newsday.com/sports/printedition/ny-spgold064963824nov06,0,4890102.story. I'll continue to do my small part by running a marathon every month or two to help raise awareness that 8,500 people do not have to die from AIDS every day. The number of deaths could be substantially reduced if the AIDS medicine were available to AIDS sufferers all over the world. Please do your part by further spreading the word and ordering a box of greeting cards, knowing that the money raised from the sale of these cards will benefit people whose lives have been devastated by AIDS.
