Introduction The workshops focus on the Implications and Applications of Knowledge Management for sustainable Development. Knowledge Management is increasingly seen, not merely as the latest management fashion, but as signaling the development of a more organic and holistic way of understanding and exploiting the role of knowledge in the processes of managing and doing work, and an authentic guide for individuals and organizations in coping with the increasingly complex and shifting environment of the modern economy Total Attendance The role of Knowledge Management in both strategic advantage and operating excellence has become increasingly clear over the last two decades. High performing organizations continually refine their understanding and assessment of how knowledge is generated, captured, and transformed into value.The total attendance at the workshop will be restricted to only 30 people to maximize interaction and learning. Target Group The workshop is targeted primarily at public and private sector professionals and senior managers that see Knowledge Management as critical to the innovative process. Including, but not limited to: Principal Secretaries, CEOs, Commissioners (i.e. RCs, DCs, RPCs, etc.), Program Coordinators, Researchers, Engineers, Managers, Consultants and other interested parties. Application Deadline Application deadline is set to be January 15th 2007 Dates, Venue The workshop will be held at Golden Rose Arcade Conference Centre, Arusha-Tanzania from February 12th -16th, 2006 Participation fees The participation fee is set to be US$ 410 (Tsh 490,000/=) covering the workshop expenses (Registration, course Materials, and Lunch). Participants are to cover their accommodation and subsistence costs.
