Guest guest
Well that just sucks. Any senior can ride for free including the very wealthy. Once again a double standard. Guest guest
I am very unsure about this. I met Friday with some people who have been involved with Ride DuPage for the last decade as well as human services...the way the copy was written, people who have HOUSEHOLD income under certain amounts will qualify. Based on that restriction, my son who is an adult, but lives with his family, will not qualify because our household income is more than $50,000 a year. Advocates may want to advocate for an upgrade to that. Perhaps people on disability ..period. The way the DuPage agency on Para Transit sees it, many people with disabilities are left out on this one because of the qualifier, HOUSEHOLD income. The DePage group is going to ask for this change to Pace. It makes good press for the governor, but I am not sure how wide spread th e impact is going to be. I would go ahead and renew Pace cards until we get more / clear information on this. Cindi

Guest guest
My beef is why do they have to fill out circuit breaker. The seniors get it just by being seniors, they don't have to go through hoops. Guest guest
The same qualifying ID they had before. For my area, it's the PACE ID. The same ID is given for those with disabilities.
