Guest guest
My daughter lives in Belgrade, just outside of Bozeman. Her fiance's parents live in Laurel, just outside of Billings. I have 2 sons in Missoula and their father lives in Maxville. Maxville is close to burg, where the wedding will take place. I'm gonna call the doc tomorrow and see if the number Donna gave me will speed things up any. In the meantime, I've added back all but one of the pills. I don't want to fail a second time. Guest guest
I am going to go out on a limb here. But I am going to suggest to you Sharon that you get some fresh collard greens. I ate them when my blood counts went down, they are high in the b vitamins that you need. I can't stand that you are so weak. If the doctor will not give you procrit, he should!!!!!!! Like our Nurse Practitioner said it is all in the coding for billing. In the mean time, try the collards. It is a southern thing. If you want to know how to cook them let me know. I called another doc and that \office told me they don't give the procrit shots there. I'm seeing a pattern here that leads to it having to come from a blood doc. Guest guest
That is a great idea taking the b12. I had a nutrition professor that swore that you get the most from your vitamins by eating fresh veggies. By eating the vitamins in greens, protein, carbs such as potatoes you get the max amounts of vitamins because of digestion. He poo poo store bought vitamins as most are not absorbed during digestion and pass quickly out of the system. He made a believer out of me. Interesting fact, he said that ice water was more quickly absorbed in the system than just plain tap water or room temp water. I used to freeze my water when I ran so that I could more quickly absorb the water when I ran. Because I sweat like a pig!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it was mind over matter, but it seemed that I was not as tired at the end of a run. I don't run anymore. Too dang fat. But I am walking and drinking my water and Oh lord I bought one of those the bean exercise chairs. They are the bomb. I worked out for 30 mins last night and I felt great after my work out. Hope you feel better and if you get better soon I will buy you a the bean chair. That is a incentive to feel better and get that blood count back up!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Sharon, ever heard of AZO, its a natural product that my mom and aunt take when they get UTI's,, it was suggessted by my cousin who is also a paramedic but in the last couple of years graduated and began working as a Physicians assistant and works with an MD who specializes in alternative care... it works great,, or so Im told, I have never tried it myself.. UTI's are caused by bacteria,, drinking water can help to keep the amount of bacteria somewhat reduced by flushing some of it out,, but you need to make your bladder more acidic so that it kills off the bacteria... you can get azo at most drug stores..SHARON CROSBY <csharonxoxo@...> wrote: What I don't understand is that I drink water all day and all night, but I keep getting UT infections. Guest guest
that is true about most cheap vitamins janet, but not all vitamins are like this,, the 'better' ones meet a standard that requires that they dissolve within 30 min of taking them,, so they ARE absorbed in the gut because they are digested and broken down in the stomach.. but getting the vitamins from fresh food is sooo much better,, we cannot beat mother nature in how nutrients are designed in food.. thats the trouble that allopathic medicine makes, it tries to isolate the active ingredient in something not understanding that the active ingredient works the best when mixed with the other enzymes and things in the WHOLE food, plant etc.. however,,, when you are trying to get your vitamins from foods that are grown for profit in soils that are depleted over and over, the nutrition is greatly reduced.. Im a HUGE ADVOCATE of ORGANIC fruits and veggies as they have been proven to be 83% higher in nutrition than foods grown in dead soils,, with chemicals that are absorbed into the plants and end up in the food you eat... oh what a circle jerk eh?Janet <doc_jade@...> wrote: That is a great idea taking the b12. Guest guest
thats so weird,, the doc does NOT need to GIVE YOU THE SHOT,, just give you the prescription so that you can fill the script and YOU CAN give yourself the shot,, its just as easy as the INF shot.. Guest guest
I'm limited here in backwater WA. If I want to drive to Seattle, there are lots of docs there, but I don't want to travel and this doc has a splendid reputation in the state. I'll just jump through their hoops and then I'll get what I need. The appt is tomorrow now, so it's almost over. Guest guest
thats awesome Janet,, we all can help each other and you are the momma helper here!Janet <doc_jade@...> wrote: I am going to go out on a limb here. Guest guest
well let me know if you can't find it,, the drug store I use has it all the time,, SHARON CROSBY <csharonxoxo@...> wrote: I'm sure gonna get some. I have had so many in the past few months. Thanks, Jackie Sharon Re: red blood cell count Sharon, ever heard of AZO, its a natural product that my mom and aunt take when they get UTI's,, it was suggessted by my cousin who is also a paramedic but in the last couple of years graduated and began working as a Physicians assistant and works with an MD who specializes in alternative care... it works great,, or so Im told, I have never tried it myself.. UTI's are caused by bacteria,, drinking water can help to keep the amount of bacteria somewhat reduced by flushing some of it out,, but you need to make your bladder more acidic so that it kills off the bacteria... you can get azo at most drug stores..SHARON CROSBY <csharonxoxomsn> wrote: What I don't understand is that I drink water all day and all night, but I keep getting UT infections. Shouldn't that much water prevent this problem? Guest guest
Ok hon,, but YOU LET HIM KNOW that YOU ARE NOT GONNA PUT UP WITH this kind of NEGLECT...SHARON CROSBY <csharonxoxo@...> wrote: I'm limited here in backwater WA. If I want to drive to Seattle, there are lots of docs there, but I don't want to travel and this doc has a splendid reputation in the state. I'll just jump through their hoops and then I'll get what I need. The appt is tomorrow now, so it's almost over. Re: red blood cell count thats so weird,, the doc does NOT need to GIVE YOU THE SHOT,, just give you the prescription so that you can fill the script and YOU CAN give yourself the shot,, its just as easy as the INF shot..
