Information about treatment

Hello to all,

It has been a little over 5 years that I found out I had Cll/Sll

I have been able to control things and have a pretty good life.

The only treatment that I have had is Rituxan and I have used it

several times, a couple of 8s then went to 4 every 6 mo. The last

change was to try the i treatment every 3 mo. IT DID NOT WORK! My

dr. wanted me to do it said he was putting all his patients like me

on this. I balked a little, because I really couldn't see how less

was going to work out to be better in my case. I barely had a stable

outcome after the 4 treatments in a month. Anyway now my counts are

higher than they have ever been and the nodes are larger also. I

have to get over this mess up if you know what I mean, and it is

time I do something. I am considering putting a small dose

Chorambucil along with the 4 Rituxan treatments. My count are not

extreamly high but higher then I have been. WBC 14.5 Lymp 73 RBC

3.75 Neuts 15

If any one has some wisdom they would like to share please do. Oh my

largest node is at 5.4 with others around 2.5 to 3.

I also have been battling a extream sinus infection and have taken

Levaquin for 6 days and have 4 more to go. I am felling pretty run

down and not slepping well.

All in all I know things could be much worse and I am thankful to be

this healthy after 5 1/2 years.

list and find it helpful.
