Guest guest
Ellen, I began Revlimid 22 months ago with a rising white count of 244K and a newly-acquired 11q deletion. For about a year I had enlarged lymph nodes, including armpit nodes 'fully-packed' and the size of tennis balls. Whether from 'tumor flare' or del11q we may never know. I persevered and have settled into a regimen of 5mg Revlimid daily. During these 22 months, my ANC was never below 1.4; my platelets never below 146; and hemoglobin never below 10. My current numbers are WBC=10K, ANC=2.3, PLT=160, HGB=12.7 and my nodes are perhaps 10% of what they were 6 months ago.
