Guest guest
ROTFL! Guess who told him he better have the camera out?? LOL I told him where it was and that there was extra film too. BTW, Faith, LOVED the Easter Bunny! She talked to me on the phone and was so excited. She told me about her bear and the duck that Ann sent. Thanks so much for making her day. For those that may be wondering, Daddy is staying with over the weekend, and I am home with . Poor guy is dealing with a NASTY sinus infection. He is coughing and sneezing out all sorts of junk and is on all sorts of meds. I will be back at the hospital tomorrow. Gail Pics of Here are 3 of the pics that the photographer took of . Guest guest
Hey Gail, What a beautiful girl. How is she doing? I haven't gotten over to the Carepages yet. Now that Mo is mobile we have been out and about. She got a new dress for Easter. I'm exhausted. Mo goes back to school next week. Then maybe things will seem most normal. Give a hug from us all. Love you guys. Shellie"Gail M. Kimball" <gmkimball@...> wrote: Here are 3 of the pics that the photographer took of . Guest guest
She is doing great!!! She is off the morphine, oxygen, catheter, and today they removed the drains. She is haveing some PT and OT done while we are here. And I know I can share this with you, she FINALLY had a BM! (Which stands for " blow-out mess) They gave her a suppository this morning and it worked. Had to strip her and her bed down completely. She's allowed to eat whatever she wants, but isn't very hungry. I ordered several of her favorite things for lunch to see what she would eat, and she ate about 1/2 the serving of plain noodles. That is it. The nutritionist stopped by today and I told her that I felt guilty ordering so many different things for her, and then her not eat them. She told me not to worry about it and I was doing the right thing. We were playing with the rings you and Mo sent last night. We looked " booful " :-) Hugs to Mo!! gail ============================================================ From: Shellie Grant <shelliegrant@...> Date: 2005/03/28 Mon PM 07:36:49 GMT infantile scoliosis treatment Subject: Re: Pics of Hey Gail, What a beautiful girl. Guest guest
Gail, I have had the worst luck opening some of the pics youv'e been sending through...(Ggrrrrrr!) Did you say you had started a care page? ( I'll check that out instead) I know that our angel is doing wonderful, but how about you momma? Are you hangin' in there? Im glad you got to spend a little time at home. Im sure your both ready to get back to normal....Any word on discharge, yet? (or did I miss that post, too?) Sorry, I havent been around much lately. There is a lot going on in my life right now, besides " scoliosis stuff " , and I've had a really hard time keeping up with all the posts. Just know, that I have been thinking of you and a lot, and I am so happy for you both. If you get home and have time ~( yea right), to chat on the phone, lets do so... Love, HRH Re: Pics of > > Hey Gail, > What a beautiful girl. How is she doing? I haven't gotten over to the > Carepages yet. Now that Mo is mobile we have been out and about. Guest guest
Hey Gail, I'm soooo glad she is recovering so well. I know what you mean about the BM's. Funny what circumstances will have you praying for!!! Will she go to a regular floor soon? I'm glad she liked the rings. Every girl needs to feel booful. Especially our girls. Has Dr. already returned to Texas? What did think of him? He has a child now too I think which people say has only improved his already wonderful self. I wouldn't worry about the food either. Mo was so picky. kept bringing food from all the great Mexican restaurants in San . The nurse would bring in her tray and MO would be eating a taco!!! We just gave her whatever sounded good to her at the time. She also had nutrition shakes with all the extra calories and vitamins etc. to help catch her up until she could tolerate eating more. We have an IEP meeting at school in about an hour. Mo gets to go back on Monday. She can't wait. Hug for us and keep on getting better. I'm so happy for you guys. Love ya, ShellieGail Kimball <gmkimball@...> wrote: She is doing great!!!She is off the morphine, oxygen, catheter, and today they removed the drains.
