Guest guest
, As part of your list " family " I so hate to hear this. Please . . . keep us updated and I hope and pray all works out for good. I can only imagine the shellshock so far, but my husband's family is full of this stuff and so this kinda hits home here. Bruce has to have a bone scan and CT scan on Friday to check that it hasn't progressed further. We don't get the results until the following Thursday though. I'm praying that's clear so at least he can get some treatment. He has a gleason score of 9 if you're familiar with that. Thankyou so much for your concern. .. I'm sorry I joined the list so soon. I just wasn't expecting Bruce's results to come in this way. It's a rollercoaster here at the moment. Through all this, my eldest daughter has given me the most important advice. She said not to treat Dad as a person who is dying because he doesn't look like one who is. I guess it's still too early in the process.
Guest guest
please don't feel that way. We are happy to have you here so we can pray and support you. You are always giving so much to everyone else with all your research, glad we are able to give at least this much back to you. I really agree with your daughter! And you just never know how this is going to work out. I have heard of many people who managed to beat some very nasty cases of cancer and a lot of it has to do with a positive attitude. Easy to say... I know... and tough to do. Been there... --Carol in IL --------- Re: Re: Intro and abstracts ! Guest guest
, God Bless you and your family; is a great pray-er and we'll be praying for your hubby. Please stay and keep us all in the loop...You've earned the right to cry and whine for awhile after all your years of research and work for "our team" so please let it out!
