As part of your list " family " I so hate to hear this. Please . . .

keep us updated and I hope and pray all works out for good. I can

only imagine the shellshock so far, but my husband's family is full

of this stuff and so this kinda hits home here.

Thankyou Priscilla. Bruce has to have a bone scan and CT scan on Friday to check that it hasn't progressed further. We don't get the results until the following Thursday though. I'm praying that's clear so at least he can get some treatment. He has a gleason score of 9 if you're familiar with that.

I was SO HAPPY to see you joined and were posting already.. and SO SHOCKED to hear about your dh!!

Have already started to pray and will continue.

Hi Carol. Thankyou so much. I'm sorry I joined the list so soon. I just wasn't expecting Bruce's results to come in this way. It's a rollercoaster here at the moment. Through all this, my eldest daughter has given me the most important advice. She said not to treat Dad as a person who is dying because he doesn't look like one who is. I guess it's still too early in the process.

please don't feel that way. We are happy to have you here so we can pray and support you. You are always giving so much to everyone else with all your research, glad we are able to give at least this much back to you.

I really agree with your daughter! And you just never know how this is going to work out. I have heard of many people who managed to beat some very nasty cases of cancer and a lot of it has to do with a positive attitude.

Easy to say... I know... and tough to do.

Been there...
