Guest guest
Hi ine, " Question: is there a developmental age attributed to each reflex? " Thank you for your question. I will add it to our FAQ list. The short answer is yes, there is an age at which the reflex emerges (often even as soon as the early weeks in utero) and there is an age by which the reflex typically should be integrated. Beyond that age range, the reflex is said to be not integrated. The age of emergence and integration is listed for each Dynamic and Postural reflex in the Integration of Dynamic and Postural Reflexes manual which is available for purchase on the web site through Brea Maday. The reflexes covered in the Lifelong Reflexes course (e.g. gravity, grounding, balancing, etc.) do not have an age range associated with them as they are active throughout our entire lives.
