Guest guest
Please could someone help me interpret my salivary cortisol and DHEA results. Cortisol Levels Sample 1 10.5 (range 12-22) L Sample 2 6.4 (range 5.0-9.0) Sample 3 1.2 (range 3.0-7.0) L Sample 4 1.3 (range 1.0-3.0) DHEA Levels Sample 2(am) 0.32 (range 0.30-1.00) Sample 3(pm) 0.26 (range 0.3-1.00) L DHEA:Cortisol Ratio 1.49 (range 1.0-4.0) Does this mean I have mild or moderate adrenal fatigue? And will OTC supplement like AD206 by Biocare be adequate? Its strange as I have just had a blood test which showed early morning (08.45) cortisol levels at 668 (range 150-650), which looks the opposite to the salivary test. My blood and salivar tests were a week apart. I do know I am hypo at the moment (changed to Thiroyd from Armour beginning of Jan and had to reduce dosage by a quarter to get used to new tablet as had hyper symptoms). Have just increased by a quarter again last few days. Blood test last week showed TSH 0.01 T4 10.6 (12-22) T3 4.5 (3.9-6.7). Would that have any bearing on high cortisol reading in blood? Look forward to a reply! Best wishes
