Guest guest
Hi All, I am finally back at work after being off sick for 7 days. I got stuck in the snow on the 6th and it took us 5 1/2 hours to get home. I increased my NDT on the 20th December and I think that it was too much. The stress of the snow and the increase combined was just too much for my adrenals. I reduced my NDT on the 7th. I have forced myself to have a week of work. Years ago I would have 'soldiered on' but now I know about adrenal fatigue. I wish I had known about adrenal fatigue years ago - I would not have put myself through hell 'soldiering on'. When I first saw Dr P, I told him that I felt as though I have been living on my nerves for decades. The results of the NDT increase have worn off and I seem to be ok on that side of things. I still feel a little stressed - I have got some Siberian gensing and licorice drops and some Magnolia stuff to boost my mood. I now take things gently and try to put myself first - but if the snow comes back - I will hibernate. B
