Guest guest
I have heard not to take thyroxine 24 - 48 hours before blood tests. Could anyone shed more light on this? I think I would feel a bit of a fraud if I did not take them. I have never omitted them before and I am right at the bottom end of normal on 100 mcg. Does Dr Peatfield recommend ommitting tablets before bloods? Off to see him in November and will be taking these blood results with me, so trying to get as good a set as I can! Also I have started myself on adrenal support tablets. Does anybody know whether I should or should not take them before I go for the blood tests? Or even better how long they would take to show any effect in your body. Thank you for taking the time to read my message. Kind regards Heidi
