Narrow Range vs. Peripheral Conversion Regulation

There is a problem with the concept of a Narrow Range for the dosage of

levothyroxine sodium. It is in the statement by the American Thyroid

Association in its critique of " 's Syndrome. " The conversion of thyroxine

(T4) to triiodothyronine (T3) is allegedly " highly regulated. "

The American Thyroid Association goes on to claim that taking T3 in any form is

dangerous because there is no such regulation.

But then we get this BS about a narrow range..... Contradiction !!!

Have a great day,
