Low magnesium - supplementing and still getting muscle spasms...

What is the best way to supplement? I am taking 12.5 mg of iodoral. I showed

deficient in magnesium, so my doctor said I should get about 800 mg a day. I've

been using the magnesium oil/spray - about 400 mg worth a day and then taking

300 of the magnesium glycinate and about 200 calcium citrate. But I am still

having some muscle cramping - and I've been supplementing like this for about

six weeks. There have been a few days I've forgotten, and boy do I pay for it!

Should I be supplementing even more since I am taking iodoral?

What other forms might be good to take but not too expensive?
