Guest guest
It is reported fairly regularly that people's thyroids swell when they start to give the body more iodine... the thryroid is swelling in order to soak up as much iodine as it can. You probably need more than that-- 50mg/day is considered the minimal therapeutic dose to treat the chronic iodine deficiency virtually all of us are suffering from. You should have always been taking 1/2 tsp unrefined salt every day as a companion nutrient for the iodine protocol. Are you taking the magnesium, selenium, vit C as well? Salt loading is different, it is IN ADDITION to the usual daily salt intake. The thyroid will return to its normal size once it gets enough iodine. Again, I recommend upping your intake to 50mg. But you MUST take all the companion nutrients every day in order to benefit from it. -- >I have been taking Iodoral( 12.5mg -1 pill) with the companion nutrients >for more than a year. I recently upped my intake to 1 and a half pills and >now up to 2 = 25 mg.
