Guest guest Posted January 12, 2010 Report Share Posted January 12, 2010 I spoke with one of the researchers at the "Berkeley Wellness Letter" who told me that most if not all vitamins and their chemicals are manufactured in China; most if not all amino acids are manufactured in Japan, and some, or many minerals are manufactured here, in the U.S. She is concerned not just about the chemicals but also the manufacturing process of most vitamins, She would prefer it if they were manufactured in the U.S. but it would make most vitamins cost prohibitive. Hmm... it sounds almost unbelievable, but she is a credible source, and the "U.C. Berkeley Wellness Letter" is a recognized reference. You can Google them and visit thier website.
