Haven't looked into it - but my own experience when I started iodine was that I

started getting hive like large bumps - calmed down with lots of anitoxidants

etc. Large hive-like lumps have never been part of my symptom picture. (I'm

autoimmune low thyroid, gluten issues, mercury issues, compromised digestion)

The other link that I can see is the importance of the salt loading protocal -

the guy who writes about the watercure.com says that salt acts as a natural

antihistamine.
