Guest guest
Thanks ladies, I will give it another go then seeing as I have half a bottle in the cupboard. I found angry before when we tried this, same really with L Glutathione, more meltdowns than usual, we definitely have wobbly gut, so anything that may help in that department is worth a second try lol. Guest guest
L Glutamine is v.good for leaky guts. Darryl has no reactions to it.. I also know some who is doesnt agree with.. Hyper.. There are cycles Glutamate - Glutamine and Gaba - Glutamine Glutamate - Glutamine and gaba - glutamine Somehow some kids have a block in one of these cycles and I think its something to do with the Gaba bit. Must study up the rocket science !! Guest guest
Vicky We are doing Higher Nature L glutamine powder on an empty stomach..1/4 teaspoon. 2 -3 times a day. Try it first thing in the morning...and see how you go for a few days. L glutathione...well we had trouble with that one as well. More rocket science required to get to the bottom that. So its abandoned for now.. How I wish there was a college course for all this ! A lottery yes only mentioned this to Mandi yesterday. There are 200 of us.. £5 a month.. Thats a £1000 a month to a lucky winner... Not sure how we would do the logistics of it..or how we draw a number. Maybe we just need to incorporate more groups.. I would rather someone won something and my £5 went to a deserving famliy..that it get spent by the normal lottery on some useless painting worth millions.. Guest guest
Thanks Joanne, I started again this morning and so far so good, no tantrums as yet. Reading what others have said he is now on Magnesium and regular zinc which he may not have been before so I can see the sense in re-trying things a while down the road. I so wish I had written everything down from the start, what we have used and when. Thanks Vicky xx
Guest guest
I believe for women it is between 2 and 5 grams. I just put a spoon full in my shake in the AM, which I have after my work out. Guest guest
Raquel, L glutamine is well worth your while and very effective for leaky gut. Like you, I have a regime that makes my head spin and I'm always trying to simplify. This is one area I let go and then picked up again because it works so well and the improvement is so noticeable. Just add the powder to a glass of water, stir till dissolved, and drink. I mix one batch first thing in the morning and keep it with me. In the afternoon, I do a second round. I have a scoop in the container that I found that gives me the right amount (1/2 the right amount) and I mix it in one of my water bottles.... then sip away. Seriously, it makes a big difference. One other thing, leaky gut will not heal through supplements alone. You have to figure out what caused it and that's usually some form of food reaction. For me it's gluten, dairy, and soy.... If I get all healed up and then eat them, I have to repair my gut....L glutamine is great gut repair. Guest guest
Thanks for your input, you make it sound so good and simple that I may just try it after all. I'll have to do what I've done in past years (but not this time...), write a whole schedule of all my supplements and stick it above the area where I keep most of them so I can refer to it throughout the day. It's a royal pain you-know-where to have to take so many things but better them than drugs! And while we're on the subject, how long do you think I should do this? I need to know if I should order another bottle...Leaky gut for me could've been a number of things but mainly Candida. I'm now on a diet that avoids the "offenders", I even dropped soy milk a few weeks ago (I used it to mix protein powder in but not really every day) and taking antifungals so that should help too...Raquel>> Raquel,> > L glutamine is well worth your while and very effective for leaky gut.
