Guest guest
Hi Kathy - good to see your name, but & company should stay away from the O newbies. They have abused enough people already. For all new members: Those who run those lists are dictators. For your own good, don¡Çt go there. Plus they push SHAKLEE products. What is that all about? They also have to approve you? Join if you want to be controlled. Love Two New ER Lists - Basic and Advanced Levels Hello everyone, Two new blood type lists have been formed recently. One is for newbies who are just beginning, or may be considering the program, but don't know a lot about it. It also is for people who want basic discussions about food, recipes and lifestyles for each blood type, without getting into complex discussions about supplements, health problems, etc. The other is for people who have been committed to the theory for a long time, and are at varying levels of expertise and experience. This post is an invitation to those who might want to join one or the other, or both. The list for the blood type veterans is a new Live Right 4 Your Type list. To qualify for the LR list, a person must use blood type theory themselves, and must own and have read, or at least own and have a working knowledge of, all the first four books by Dr. D'Adamo. Only the food list booklets and the new baby book are not required for membership, although members are encouraged to at least read them eventually. List applicants must have had a secretor test, done either with blood or saliva. The entire blood serotyping is encouraged for all members, but it is not required for acceptance to the list. Some of the members of the Live Right list, several of whom have been working with ER several years, and/or work professionally with it, have formed a team to help people who are new to the theory. A major goal of the team is to help newbies understand and utilize the food lists and the theory in general, and to prevent incorrect information from being posted as factual. The veteran team will be working with newbies on the ER4YT-Basic list, owned by Sue, who is from England and presently lives in Cyprus. She is a type A with type O family members, and very involved with family food preparation that is ER-compliant. There are no requirements for membership other than an interest in ER. To join this list, send an email to ER4YT-Basic-subscribe To apply for membership on the list for ER veterans, which is co-owned by several of the members, scattered throughout the U.S., send an email to Live-Right-4-Your-Type-subscribe Sincerely, The ER4YT Veteran Team

Guest guest
There is a Basics list that Sue from Cyprus started for those who didn't have all the books where they are available and for those from countries that don't have all the books translated into the language or languages they speak. Guest guest
Yes Jane, the Tiger Medicine in your Tucson phone book is one and the same. Although they profess to be blood type followers, they are Shaklee salespeople and in the end that's what they push regardless of blood-type compliance. Guest guest
I am so confused:-( I don't know which group to belong to. Is this the ORIGINAL " good guys " ?:-) I am soooo new to this group and to the book, one month I have been using it So I need trustworthy people!!! I use a system to test foods and supplements to see if my body rejects or accepts them and when I tested Shaklee I nearly fell over backwards, my body was rejecting them so STRONGLY!!!! So you don't need to guess how I feel about that product!!!:-) -- RE: Two New ER Lists - Basic and Advanced Levels HEEEE HEEE HEEEE HEEE (evil cackle). Guest guest
To set the record straight, Tiger Medicine is no longer in existence. Someone is reading really old phone books. It was a clinic in Tucson where I and my husband worked together for three years. He practices Traditional Chinese Medicine and encourages the use of ER in his practice. For the last 18 months he has been on the faculty of the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, a four-year school of Chinese medicine, so we have left Tucson. About a third of his students are either already naturopaths or are working on their naturopathy degree at the Southwest Naturopathy School in the Phoenix area. The blood serotyping for ER is done at the Rockwell lab that Dr. Kruzel moved with him from Oregon when he became the medical director of the school and its medical clinic, the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center. Tiger Medicine was listed among the practitioners of ER on Dr. D's website the entire time it was in operation. I don't know if that section is still on there or not. I have had many discussions with Heidi who writes Dr. D's column about our work when Tiger Medicine was in operation as a clinic in Tucson. It now is the name I often use as my online name. Ironically most of the students and naturopaths tell my DH they don't work with and/or use ER, and he often is more pro-ER than they are! They generally don't seem to know a lot about it either. We both help people with diet and supplement programs that include several brands and recommendations, including Shaklee, which is owned by a Japanese Pharmaceutical company and has quite a few products in line with Chinese medical theory. We work out of a clinic in the Phoenix area. My DH also is a member of the faculty clinic at PIHMA and supervises student clinics there as well, which means he supervises some naturopathy students as well, since they have to do their acupuncture clinics at PIHMA. While we had Tiger Medicine in Tucson, we had a close working relationship with , who runs the lab for Dr. Kruzel, as we ordered blood serotyping for our patients and helped teach them about ER. Now we just send people directly to for the bloodwork, since we are in the same metro area. In Tucson, the blood had to be drawn there and then sent to , so it is much easier now for patients. My DH only works with ER privately, since only traditional Chinese medicine, including traditional bulk herbs, are allowed at his PIHMA clinics. The veterinarians in Tucson and Green Valley, who practice acupuncture and herbology on pets, including curing some of cancer, were delighted when they learned we were in Tucson and sent us the pet parents throughout our stay there. One of their herbology mentors is also my DH's, Dr. Zhao in Santa Fe, and he recommended us to them when we first moved there. My DH is a graduate of the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, a four-year program that offers one of the best herbology programs in the U.S. Most of the herbal prescriptions he prefers to use are formulas put together by his mentor, whom the vets also study with, which he orders from Dr. Zhao. He also uses some Shaklee products in his practice because the quality and science of the products meet the standards he acquired through his years of medical training by people who were from China, many of them MDs in China. He also uses and/or recommends some other brands too, including several of Dr. D's products. My DH is fluent and/or reads about 16 'live and dead' languages, and tries to teach at least one Sanskrit course a year at local colleges. He also teaches conversational Spanish, but prefers working with police departments in that respect. He will be teaching Egyptian heiroglyphics in the fall at a local college. In addition to my full-time health work guiding people through ER and other food plans appropriate for their needs, I am working on a masters degree in Vedic Astrology, a sister science to, and some consider even a component of, Ayurvedic Medicine, the ancient system out of India made famous in the U.S. by Depok Chopra. It also is called Jyotish, or Science of Light. I am a former full-time journalist, a Baylor U. graduate, who was working for the San Light (Hearst Corp.), one of the the countries largest dailies at the time, at a very young age. I also worked for Scripps- in South Florida. But I have been helping people put together diet and supplement programs since I was in college in the early 1970s, using many brands and theories, and I have done some health writing through the years, freelance and for the daily newspapers where I worked. Having been raised in an aspect of the health food industry, it has been a lifelong study and pursuit. For the record, I don't own nor moderate the new ER4YT-Basic list, so please don't slander people the people who do, as I saw in some posts on this list. And I am not the only owner of the other list, as there are several. Tabitha has been gone from ALL ER lists for about a year. RE: Two New ER Lists - Basic and Advanced Levels Yes Jane, the Tiger Medicine in your Tucson phone book is one and the same. Guest guest
Thank you for your kind words, . The only reason I can see in them starting up the new lists is that they've run out of Shaklee victims...er, " new members, " and need to expand their horizons (and profits). I'm ashamed to say that they got me for some money before I was kicked out.
