Guest guest
Hi Vicki You asked about red patches on the upper lip and eyelid. Those sound like my allergies too, although mine respond to hydrocortisone. I'd prefer to use a natural alternative if anyone has a suggestion. I turned down the SEVEN different pills (mostly steroids) the doctor recommended to me, and asked instead if there isn't some way to be more immune to allergies. Only then was I told well of course, the better your overall health and fitness, the stronger your immune system, and you will resist allergies better, just like you resist disease better. By following the O eating and exercise recommendations, my allergies have become a very minor inconvenience, rather than the ordeal they once were. Do you know what you are allergic to? I took the allergen tests. I like to camp under the stars, without a tent, under some nice trees. Well, guess what I'm mostly allergic to: grasses and trees! So, I camp in a tent now. I'm not about to stop doing what I love to do, but I can make some accomodation, and it helps a lot. One last thought. You said you'd seen an MD. Was that person a dermatologist? Have you considered asking for a referral to one? Good luck!
Guest guest
I saw an eye dr. about the bloodshot eye and he said it was probably allergies and I also saw a dermatologist who told me to put vasoline on my upper lip! I get allergy shots on a regular basis. I just dont feel like its a allergy though...maybe food?? > One last thought. You said you'd seen an MD. Was > that person a dermatologist? Guest guest
I have a 9 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. I'm sorry it was the rhogam shot, at the time I went blank and couldn't remember the name. How are your children doing? My children don't have any obvious side effects. THANK GOD! ________________________________ From: Cheryl Mercer <cheryl.mercer@...> vaccinations Sent: Friday, 26 June, 2009 10:10:29 Subject: RE: what is this That would be the Rhogam shot - and it used to contain Mercury (thimerasol) depends on when you got the shot. I had it with my son 10 years ago, and with my daughter 5 years ago I declined it. Chelly Vaccinations From: angelhoose@... When I was pregnant with both of my children I had to get a shot so the anti bodies didn't build up and kill my unborn child(at least thats how the doctor put it). Is this safe? I was affraid at the time but now I starting to question it. _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail® has ever-growing storage!
