Guest guest
Welcome! You'll never have to worry about good thoughts and prayers coming your way with this bunch. They ooze it. I was so glad when I found Duff's website, and then the group, because there is not a support group near me, and I had to sort of wing the whole thing. I don't remember much about the actual getting of the gizmo at all, but I thought maybe I ought to bring up the afterwards. I had trouble with my incision and it turned out to be a couple of stitches that wanted to work their nasty selves out, when they should have dissolved, and so I had to have somebody pick them out for me. I never thought such a little thing could drive me so crazy as it hurt. Somebody earlier suggested aloe and vitamin E, and that is great stuff. I have some aloe gel that really made a difference, and there's probably lots of good creams out there that would do for you. Bath and Body Works sells some stuff I got as a gift, in their Aromatherapy line called Sleep, with a fragrance of chamomile and neroli (whatever that is), and the really good thing about this stuff is that it has arnica in it which is good for sore muscles. I have had soreness on the left side and had trouble sleeping because just could not get comfortable. My swimming has helped but I am still sore as the gizmo feels funny. Mine feels heavy, and it shifts oddly if I move a certain way. I'll try to pass along anything else that might be of help as I think of it.
