Guest guest
I just turned twenty nine last month and refuse to be thirty and flabby. I hope to be in better shape by forty and even greater at fifty. Personally, I've looked at a lot of photos over the last month and it really seems to me that the women who have done some of the greatest transformation in the quickest time are fifty or over. I have no clue why, definitely something I'd like to figure out, if there is a reason. Generally speaking though, that is my opinion. Guest guest
I'm 24 years old. I wasn't overweight until after I had my son. While I was pregnant, I was borderline gestational diabetes, and I went from 130lbs to 180 lbs, and after he was born, I only went back down to 146. This is a problem for me since I am a small framed 5'3 " . My doc told me I shouldn;t be much heavier than 118-120 at the most. Liz
Guest guest
Okay, so I have a few less months to get there than you...I will be 30 in September so that is a HUUUUUUGE motivator to finally do this!! I act like at 30 strange things happen, I'm gonna fall into the abyss or something But that is my goal! Glad to see you're there too! Guest guest
I'm weird, I look forward to thirty and forty and fifty...like someday I might actually grow up or something...doubtful! I never know how I will react to things though, maybe I'll cry, maybe I'll get a chemical peel, maybe I'll run a marathon or join the Reserves.....Whatever, it will seem just right at the moment! - my seven year old just told me we all have the right to Life, birthday and the pursuit of happiness- I'm going to spend the next few mintues trying desperately to figure him out. But keep in mind that as we get older, our body naturally experiences muscle loss. That is why weight training is so important. Keep hittin' those 10's!!!!! ...... .. Guest guest
I'm 24. I'm doing BFL because I need to get rid of the flab. I'm 5'3 " with a small frame, so the weight looks ugly on me. If you saw me in person (with clothes on of course), you wouldn't think I'd need to lose weight. I wear a size 1 or a size 3 (I do NOT understand how in the world I fit in these small sizes but for some reason, I do...anyone have any insight on this?), and I have a 23% body fat (looking to drop it to 16-17%). I don't use a scale, so I don't know my weight. In 1999, I used to wear a size 6 or an 8. The largest I've ever worn was a 9 back in 1997. In early 2000, I tried Metabolife and lost weight to drop my clothing size down to a 1 or 3 (which is where I am now). I've kept the weight off for the most part, (give or take about 5 lbs) since then. I don't know how in the WORLD I lost that weight by just taking Metabolife...I didn't exercise at all during this time, and ate a lot of those " Healthy Choice " frozen meals. Nevertheless, I don't look good in a swimsuit, flabby upper arms, have big ugly legs (thanks to years of figure skating and rollerblading) and have a little tummy pooch I need to lose, and hopefully by doing BFL I can accomplish these goals! Guest guest
Thursday, February 5, 2009 How Old Are You? How Old Are You?By Pulsifer If we did not know our age, some of us would appear to be very young, and some of us would seem very old. Sometimes, people use age as a convenient excuse. "I'm too old to start something new", or, "I couldn't learn that at my age." Other people, though, go on to achieve their greatest accomplishments in life in later years. Take, for example, Colonel Harland who started franchising his chicken outlets when he was 65 years old. Up to the age of 90 years old he traveled 250,000 miles a year visiting KFC franchises. He not only overcame personal and business adversities, but more importantly, he didn't let age stand in his way! Feelings lead to attitudes, attitudes become beliefs, and beliefs become the basis for actions. It is not important how old you are;It is how you feel, how you think,And what you do that is important. To quote Satchel Paige, "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you was." Adjust Sails Aseem Kaistha It's your attitude and not your aptitude that determines your altitude.
