Guest guest
This is a response to my query to Rick Wagner on eidon about mercury and iodine. ------------------ Zoe,My information on the detoxifying effects of iodine did indeed come from an article by Guy Abraham entitled "The safe and effective implementation of orthoiodosuppelmentation in medical practice". These statements were part of a discussion on the results of the evaluation of 24 hour urine samples taken from people supplementing with different amounts of an inorganic iodine supplement. The samples were taken to establish the amount of iodine excreted after supplementation to determine changes in tissue saturation of iodine which was a part of theresearch hypothesis. The relationship between iodine and other essential elements and mercury detoxification is my own conclusion based upon anoverview of numerous research articles on all of the elements involved, personal experience, and some intuition which may or may not be completely accurate but makes sense to me. In good health,Rick Wagnercomments: I would love to know more about mercury detox and iodine. I wasintrigued by your comment: "Iodine, Zinc, Sulfur, Selenium, and Silicastimulate the excretion of heavy metals including mercury. Iodine is at thetop of the list when it comes to mercury removal." All I know of iscomments made by Abraham, Brownstein, or Flechas. Do you knowanything more???Zoe Moderator, Iodine Groupwww.iodine4health.com
