Guest guest
I forgot to mention that I had an appointment with my gynecologist last week for a check up on fibroids and a cyst that had been growing on my ovary. (I don't know how I could have left this off my original post .. just too excited to post all of my improvements, I guess!) The ultrasound that was done showed the cyst had gone down from 4 cm to 1.5 cm .. of which the dr. NOW says that she is not concerned about that size of that cyst AND the fact that it has shrunk so much! I have struggled with 3 fibroids for years. The last time I had an ultrasound done (3 months ago) it showed that I had 5 fibroids! On this past weeks ultrasound, there was no fifth fibroid and the fourth had diminished just a bit. I'm thinking that these improvements can ALSO be attributed to my Iodoral supplementation .. ? > > I am rather new on this board .. Guest guest
That's wonderful!!! Dr. B rocks! He called me on Friday with my U/S results and my ovarian cyst is gone too. My ND could feel it 8 mos ago through the top of my abdomen. Then a month ago he could not. I am now on 75 mgs of Iodoral trying to get them to function better. We'll see if the pain goes away now. Guest guest
Yes Iodine does help the ovaries. Also, just in case you didn't know, Progesterone kills fibroids dead. Shrinks cysts also. Estrogen creates both fibroids and cysts when it is dominant in your body - when there is not enough Progesterone to balance out the Estrogen. Might want to see if your Progesterone levels are low if you haven't. And if it is low, synthetic progesterone will make those conditions WORSE, not better, so bioidentical Progesterone is the way to go. --- Glory <glonear@...> wrote: > I forgot to mention that I had an appointment with > my gynecologist > last week for a check up on fibroids and a cyst that > had been growing > on my ovary. Guest guest
Hi , I only (just) started the bioidentical (compounded) progesterone/testosterone cream last Saturday. I'm thinking that my fibroid situation is better because of the Iodoral that I've been on for three weeks ..?? Yes, I was tested by Dr. B and both my progesterone and testosterone levels were too low. Thus his prescription for the bioidentical hormones. ~Glo > > Might want to see if your Progesterone levels are low > if you haven't. Guest guest
Anybody know what Dr. Brownstein would prescribe to "reduce testosterone"? Would it just the the "Iodoral"? Guest guest
How very exciting, Glory!!! Guest guest
if testosterone is high that often goes with extremely stressed adrenals. I doubt that the T is really high, but it is high in relation to E and P. Testing is a big problem, as in not accurate. Gracia Anybody know what Dr. Brownstein would prescribe to "reduce testosterone"? Would it just the the "Iodoral"? Re: Natural Motivation Returning/Pounds Dropping Off/Cyst & Fibroid Improvement! Guest guest
Awesome! It sounds like the Iodoral has really helped. Now the Progesterone can kick in and help too. So glad you're getting some good results! --- Glory <glonear@...> wrote: > Hi , > > I only (just) started the bioidentical (compounded) > progesterone/testosterone cream last Saturday.
