Guest guest
Check out this website for further details: http://www.newmediaexplorer.org/sepp/2005/10/26/s_1873_pandemic_vaccin e_bill_to_put_drug_firms_beyond_reach_of_law.htm (there is a link to read the contents of the bill) The bill absolves the pharmaceutical industry of any civil liability in the event of injury or death from experimental vaccines or drugs. It gives sole authority to the HHS Secretary to determine whether any drug or vaccine is actually dangerous. It establishes a new federal agency which will operate IN SECRET, exempt from the Freedom of Information Act, which will insure that adverse information about these drugs and vaccines is hidden from public view. It is almost a certainty that in the event of a flu pandemic, Bush will demand that all Americans be forcibly vaccinated against it. Failure to comply will mean a jail sentence. With this legislation in place, if you get sick or die from the vaccine, you will have no recourse. It basically offers a blanket shield for the drug companies, while leaving We the People with no protection at all.

Guest guest
Folks, please take the time to truncate long links before you post them here. It’s easy to do and allows all of us to access the link without having to individually put a broken link back together again. www.tinyurl.com

Guest guest
Well, Sara, it's certainly no secret that the pharmaceutical industry has been a huge contributor to the Republican Party. The grim reality is that money does indeed talk.difuccisara1 <difuccisara1@...> wrote: I think one of the main purposes of the President's briefing today is to do his part in making sure Senate Bill 1873 "Biodefense and Pandemic Vaccine and Drug Development Act of 2005," is passed. This is one of the most unfriendly pieces of legislation I have ever seen. The Bush administration has tried to get liability protection for vaccine manufaturers in the past and unfortunately I think by scaring the crap out of the American public they are finally going to do it. Guest guest
Hi everyone, Just thought I'd give you an update as to how I'm doing. According to my therapist, I'm currently having a mixed episode (due to my bipolar which causes mania, depressed and exhaustion). As a result, I haven't slept for the past 4 nights. I called my psychiatrist who recommended that I increase my Klonopin since the normal dose I take isn't taking effect due to my mania. He suggested I start taking it 4x/day (1 tablet in AM, 1 tablet at noon and 2 tablets at bedtime). Last night I took 2 Klonopin in addition to my 300mg PRN dose of Trazodone and slept for 12.5 hours. I know that's a long time to sleep, but I guess that's exactly what my body needed given the fact that I haven't slept in 4 days as well as my mixed episode. Something I didn't know that my psychiatrist told me is that Klonopin also helps reduce mania. Interestingly enough, today I no longer feel like I'm in full blown mania. I'm now in a hypomanic state which is considered to be a mild form of mania. I also noticed that my tinnitus in my left ear is now down to a mild level and I no longer hear it when I have my CIs on. My psychiatrist and therapist think that the reason I had a mixed episode as well as increased tinnitus is because of my allergy attacks and the headache I had for 3 days. Now that my allergies are under control, my headache is gone and I've been able to sleep, it has made a positive difference in my tinnitus. Needless to say, I'm a very happy camper! , who plans to celebrate with a strawberry mocha (, care to join me?)
Guest guest
Since seems to have a mind of it's own and I haven't seen this posted to the list yet, I'm resending. My apologies if this is a double post. > Hi everyone, > > Just thought I'd give you an update as to how I'm doing.
